3 lessons May dropped in my bag

Long time, no see! But it’s May 29

I suppose and here are few things worth sharing that I’ve learnt past weeks.

Guess we’re never too young or too old to learn from the experiences life throws us in, and at some point in our lives, it’s not the YouTube, it’s you who pushes you with all that motivational crap that you watch so keeping them recorded is always good.

This month was kind of dope and cope. A lot cool dope took place, some was too dope that I couldn't cope it as I was out of enthusiasm and kind of withdrawing, here are the lessons (these are few of them) from 1st May 2022 until today. Let's begin!

1. It’s always good to know the don’ts rather than the do’s. The reason I believe this, is there are several or say tons of different and smart ways in which things can be done apart from the one which is shown or represented, and we very rarely try to do things differently.

Once you know the don’ts, you’d be aware of those precautions and therefore it’ll be a new achievement

2. Emotion Management You must have heard a proverb

“We can’t control what comes to us, but we can control our reaction to it”

Similarly, the way we act on our emotions is so affective on us and people around us. Many times, we act immediately based on the feelings raised from our conscious or subconscious emotions and develop an immediate response without further ado but it’s important to analyse them first and think of it from other areas too.

Working on emotions: Working on emotions simply means manipulating them, disconnecting, and most importantly knowing the “why” and “how’ of every emotion, cause mostly, we carry the burden of all emotions.

Eventually the chaos which makes our already complicated life, a “joke” which wouldn’t be funny at all.

The benefit is you’d not brew relationships, your own mindset, or your life and at least it’ll get better.

Escaping emotions: It's also vital to get out of certain emotions as soon as one could.

Like for example if one is undergoing sadness, the emotion is so magnetic, the more you focus on it, the more you get consumed in it making you mentally paralyze and eventually interrupting in physical health. Even research says out of 27, sadness is long lasting emotion. It’s always good to think of what’s next that what’s gone as we can’t undo what’s been done and we can surely repair the present and make the future better. Not just in professional life but also in personal.

3. Mental Minimalism Again, I’m not going to tell you to reduce your budget, don’t buy those shirts and suits just because they’re on the sell, throw out the big ass dining table that you don’t use unless guests show up! NO! this time, it’s the ‘mental minimalism’

In minimalism you basically exit the unnecessary physical things from your life and just live with whatever you ‘need’ (not ‘wish’) similarly you gotta do with your brain, like ‘detoxication’ you know! You consume a lot of shit and store it in your brain, reels, posts, guides, tweets, texts, memes, messages, articles, blogs, videos, status, story etc. etc.! 50% of the times it’s the 50 people bragging about the same shit and guess what…. That’s senseless!

“Empty your cup to fill it with opportunities everyday”

The more we empty the unnecessary crap, the more we make space for the necessary stuff.

Detoxication is so much important as see, the thing I’m going to talk about, is logical.

For technical gadgets to work without any problem, they’re needed to be updated, cleaned, and refreshed, over a period, similarly it’s about the mind.

Carrying the same data for years (the past) could be ruinous and toxic and could even ruin the other areas of the mind.

It is however good to be updated and adapt changes quickly so that it does not make a “big difference” in a way we encounter things.

I don’t say that every past isn’t meant to be carried along, but as soon as it starts saddening your present, it’s no longer worth carrying along.

This was for today! Thank you for sticking with me for this long. Next blog would perhaps not be delayed as this was. Happy summer!!! (actually monsoon I guess) Find me here: appleskeats@gmail.com
