I do not need to have any specific introduction here; I suppose. As this topic is so normal in our lives and that is “Internet”
Well, it is almost exactly a decade since the world began upgrading technologically and soon, we embraced our individual virtual spaces.
YouTube is the world’s biggest video platform, and we all are aware of it. Everyone has access to internet these days, whether it is a 3-year-old kid dancing to “Baby Shark” or a 90-year-old watching devotional gurus.
Beating around the bush,
Besides, the addiction part internet is a piece of cake to use and helpful, at times. However, YouTube is not filled with just all “goody, light-me-up-like-dynamite, pranky, cringy” content only.
Dark net exists and yes you might have watched the videos regarding it on the same platform, but do you know things are not what they look like on a surface, under the trending and the ‘click-me pick-me’ content.
YouTube channels exist that are not discovered yet on a large scale and surprisingly, regardless of the weird and mentally disturbing context that can make people frightened at a deeper emotional level and create a creepy environment, they are STILL ON YOUTUBE.
As I aim to cause jeopardy (I mean... danger) to my mind, and living a peaceful, optimistic day would be a mistake, so here I am reveling the dark places.
Benjamin Bennett
The first one is sort of for a warm up, so

Benjamin Bennett.
This is a man who owns a YouTube Channel which he started almost 8 years ago and has almost 400K subscribers.
(Although now he has two).
Normal, isn’t it? Even I own one YT channel too.
But here the spooky part enters the chat.
On his channel what he does is……………… Nothing.
He just sits and smiles motionlessly, in front of the camera for hours on his live streams on google hangouts or sometimes YouTube which lasts to 4 hours.
JUST LOOK AT THE DURATION, QUITE CREEPY..ISN'T IT?
The first thought that knocked my mind is it is a no joke to sit at one place for 240 minutes straight and smile looking at a gadget. Like it literally has no logic!
Imagine smiling for that amount of time.
BoJack Horseman shouldn't have gone to rehab, instead they should've sent him Benjamin's home address.
He first uploaded in July 2014. Even now, he uploads once in a week. He has been doing this for almost a decade now where he sits in one position and smiles.
A strange incident
There is this one occasion when someone broke into his apartment in 2017 during his livestream, sitting and smiling, many believed it was a robber.
In the livestream, the door behind him can be seen slightly opened by someone and an indistinct chatter can be heard which follows the shutting of the door, in his YouTube video.
Even though, Benjamin knew he was alone at his house and if a daylight robbery going to take place in his house, he still did not interrupt the live stream and maintained his paralyzed posture.
Some months ago, he added another YouTube channel “Walking and Talking” in his list and yes, he talks and walks at the same time, for as maximum as 4 hours without any breaks which is at one point not a strange thing to do but what makes it bizarre is the talking part, where he goes on digging in every abstract topic, he talks with no intention of winding it up until a determined hour.
He also runs a podcast where he uploads the same audio you'd find in these videos on this channel
Benjamin's background
If you have judged Benjamin on the basis of the given information and concluded that he possesses a quirky off-beat personality in his real life (or virtually at least)
Congratulations. You are (not a genius, but yea) you are right.
After hypnotizing (I cannot think of another appropriate term here) or say captivating a certain amount of attention from a larger audience, several media platforms did tried reaching out to Bennett to address his puzzling behavior and expose his background and real intentions of posting such content but there is no information available in any article moreover he has rarely even responded to such people.
There is one interview that Mounting off had with Benjamin after waiting for months, where Benjamin states;
"All these weird interpretations [about my work] are just that manifesting, that ‘figuring out’ energy. When you have something that is almost like specifically unexplainable, then the sorts of explanations that precipitate from that are actually really interesting"
Something I am doing here. As a conclusion, No one knows where he belongs to, why he does this and who includes in his family, he continues to be a subject of the "I wonder" conversations.

Early 2000s
CASE : Computer, PCs and other gadgets were still a luxury, however video games had managed to book a room in every school going boys' hearts.
It was one such day when two brothers, one aged 13 and another aged 8 went into a Internet café to play their favorite video games which was back then, a normal thing to do.
Out of sudden, there was a tap felt on one of the boy's shoulder, there stood not a man but a kid who aged similar to these kids.
When asked about the purpose of doing it, that unknown child started a conversation ending up offering the two boys to come over his friend's place who lived nearby owned a computer which had all sort of games one would want to play but he didn't want to go alone.
Without giving it a second thought, the two boys followed this unnamed child. He took them to a nearby apartment, climbing up to 7th floor eventually a dark room.
It was NO COMPUTER,
NO FRIEND AND
NO GAMES.
It was a pedophile waiting for his prey.
Pedophile by a literal definition is a person who is sexually attracted to children (who are obviously minors)
Germany, 2004
German police was in search of something and coincidentally they discovered an unremembered old storage unit. After engineering the junk in the room, they found a hard drive with no details of it's past.
After plugging it in, tons of images were exhibited. Images of
FOOD
BEAUTIFUL NATURE
PLACES
and...
CP FOOTAGES
Footages of sexual abuse being done to minor boys, with the abuse being worse than your imagination, done in a traumatic, extremely disturbing spine-chilling manner.
The Abuser even "posed" in pictures taken, plus he had inserted himself in every picture taken not trying to hide his true face behind the camera.
But there was a problem, although he didn't hide his face, he applied a distorted effect on his face,
he didn't blurred those images instead swirled them.

It was almost impossible to codify the wrong arranged pixelated pieces of his face and put them in an order.
Germán cops took help from Interpol, an international organization and others, finally un-swirling the image and he was Christopher Paul Neil
Working in Thailand, Neil became an English teacher at a private school in Bangkok.
He also began traveling to Vietnam and Cambodia, where he took pornographic photographs of young boys and upload it online.
The whole world was hunting for this man, 32-year-old Neil, his own family member had also helped in identifying him. he would travel around countries and abuse boys sexually and uploading it.
He was the subject of a highly publicized Interpol investigation of the sexual abuse of at least 12 young boys in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand was finally caught in October 2007.
But the authorities released him in 2012 on conditions that he wouldn't buy any device or use internet again but unsurprisingly,
he repeated his actions and violated the conditions he was freed on, thus got arrested again & released in 2017.
Now living in Canada.
He still might be out there, still committing such crimes with even more security.
